I'm New
We Care About You
Thank you for your interest in Mountainview. We care about you! Regardless of where you are at in your spiritual journey; whether you are someone with a deep faith or a person who struggles with belief, we believe that God can make a lasting difference in your life.
Mountainview is about loving God and loving others. We gather, both online and in person, in order to connect with each other, and serve our community, every day.
We know it can be scary, coming to a new church for the first time. We want you to feel comfortable from the moment you pull up! That is why we would love for you to click “Plan A Visit” below. This will allow us to send you some helpful information on where to park, and what to expect when you walk through the door. If you have kids, this will help to check them into our amazing children’s ministry as smoothly as possible. This is a great way for us to connect with you.
Check out the rest of the website to find information about who we are and what you can expect at Mountainview. You can also watch our sermons online. I invite you to join us for a service!
We look forward to getting to know you.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Gord
Join Us For A Service
Mountainview Alliance Church gathers on Sunday mornings, online and in person, at 10am. We would love for you to connect with us and let us know you are new in either service.

Frequently Asked Questions
We have answered many of the frequently asked questions below for you but if you have any other questions please connect with us and we will happily assist you!
I am new… what can I expect?
Our Sunday morning services begin at 10 AM and are about an hour to an hour and a half long. The service is designed to encourage and inspire you to know Jesus, by listening, participating, and learning. During the service we sing, listen to a message from our Pastor, pray, read scripture, and give. Once a month we partake in communion together which is a time to remember what Jesus did for us. We also have a coffee/tea time after the service for you to connect with someone new, your family, and friends.
What happens after the service is over?
When the service is over, the band will usually play one more song. Many people will visit over coffee or tea in the lobby. Others may be at the front of the auditorium to receive prayer or have their questions answered. We welcome you to participate in whichever is comfortable for you.
Where can I park?
There are parking spaces behind the building as well as a large parking lot as you drive in.
Where do my children go?
When you arrive you will find a station to check in your children for our kids’ ministries. The volunteer here can direct you on where your child should go, based on their age group. Occasionally the River Room will not have volunteers available. Families are still welcomed to use this space so long as a parent remains present with the kids.
Where do I go if I have questions?
Our information center is staffed with volunteers and would love to answer any of your questions. If they do not know the answer they will find someone who can answer your questions.
Do I need to dress up?
Our congregation includes people of all ages and backgrounds. Feel free to dress in what is comfortable for you.
Do I need to give financially?
No, if you are visiting with us, please feel no obligation to give. We are excited that you are here! If you would like to give, there is a debit machine in the foyer that you can use before or after the service.
What are my next steps?
We host Next Step luncheons within the year so you can meet the Pastors and learn more about who we are, where we’re going, and how you can get connected. Watch our events page for coming opportunities. You can also contact the church office anytime and we would be happy to chat with you about how you can get connected.
What is the Alliance?
